At West Springfield, Luke was a member of the National Honor Society and German National Honor Society. He participated in cross-country and track four years, winning district, regional, and two state championships with his team. Here at Grace, he was involved in the TriCities Work Camp, George’s Kids, Crop walk, and the Grace Tutoring program. A staff member at West Springfield said, “Luke is a kind, dependable, and empathetic young man with a love of helping others.”

Luke will be attending Christopher Newport University, majoring in Elementary Education. Luke says his involvement in the Grace Tutoring program was instrumental in guiding him towards a teaching profession. Luke will also run track and cross country at CNU.
